En Plo — Hotel in Municipality of Elafonisos

Most of the times a review it’s a matter of perspective, how you look at things. |Now, this time it is not! This time it is what it is and it is really bad! ||A friend stayed there while I was at a camping at the same area. My friend was spending the whole day at the camping with her kids (and us) and she was only going back there to rest and sleep. ||Brutal facts I: you cannot take a shower without getting the toilet wet! Literally! |Like, while you shower the water falls on the toilet! It cannot get clearer than that! OBVIOUSLY there are no pictures of the toilet in the internet. ||Brutal facts II: my friend (and her two kids) was with me at the camping (in the evening of the second day) and got a call on her mobile from the owner saying that she should come quick as there is water coming out of her room! So we drove there together...|1. There were 3-4 people in the room getting the water out. We are taking about 2-3cm water on the floor. |2. All doors wide open providing zero privacy to the room... but hey let’s be fair and say that’s ok as there was an emergency... it’s not ok but... whatever. |3. When we arrived the owner was even joking about it as if that situation is extremely normal. |4. While waiting I had placed my hands on a table while standing, which broke and nearly got my foot fingers cut! (It was a table with one metal column and round ‘marble’ on top? I would say standard cheap bar/ cafeteria tables). ||Result:|It took them around an hour to clean the water off the room. |Plenty of jokes from them in between. |People coming and going from the room. ||My friend explained that she will leave the next day (and not stay for the full 4 days) and asked extremely politely to not get charged for the room for the current night as everything was ruined; mood, night out, privacy... that night was pretty much a disaster. ||The response from the owner was: ||Then you should leave tonight, right now! You have to pay for the broken table and leave right now as I am not in need of your money! Now, she said that at 23:00 to a person who was there with two kids without even apologizing for the situation of the room!!!||From the moment she said that to the moment we left for the rest of the night there were various statements from her side even threats to call someone in order to get us out!!! ||There was not even a single apology! Nothing! There were jokes about the situation but not a single apology! ||By the way... they called a Plummer as a pipe was broken! Guess why? There was no maintenance at the place since ever!||My friend left the next day from the island as there was no other room to rent. ||Evaluation:||Rooms: extremely small. They would be ok for 20€/night and that would be ok if you would really had no other place to stay and you HAD to stay there. ||Bathroom: it’s a joke!!! A cave would be better! Honest to God!||Staff: there is no professionalism. We are talking about a behavior from the ‘hood’ from some people who found themselves lucky in having an establishment near an amazing beach, where people will go as they is no other option. We are describing of people who are living in the dark ages full of irony and sarcasm to customers!! In 2020!!! We are taking about people without any respect to parents with kids, no understanding nothing. It’s was more of an attitude «let’s rent this now and get the 55€» rather than looking for the customer satisfaction and be careful for the next year and the future. I mean... satisfaction cannot derive from such a place but maybe if you have the lowest expectations from your life as a human being OR if you already live in a cave... then I would say that MAYBE, just maybe, you would be satisfied from that room... and still I’m not so sure. ||Would be good for you to avoid it. Would be better to not go to Elafonisos if it is that you need...

Βρέθηκα με τα παιδιά μου στη δυσάρεστη θέση να νοικιασω ένα δωμάτιο στο Εν ΠΛΩ στην ελαφονησο.||Εκ πρώτης φαίνεται να είναι οικογενειακό το κλίμα και ευγενικοί οι ιδιοκτήτες (μητέρα και γιος). Το σημείο του μοτέλ είναι ιδανικό, δεδομένου του νησιού, καθώς βρίσκεται πάνω στο δρόμο.||Όταν όμως μου έδειξαν το δωμάτιο έμεινα εντυπωσιακά άφωνη!||Προφανώς είχαν νοικιάσει όλα τα δωμάτια και είχε μείνει ένα δωμάτιο-τρύπα-σπηλιά στο ισόγειο, το οποίο είχε ένα κρεβάτι και μια τουαλέτα ασφυκτικά μικρή.||Η πόρτα είχε χερούλι εξωτερικά για πόμολο, κάτι που αποδείκνυε ότι προφανώς ήταν ένα δωματιάκι που αποφάσισαν οι ιδιοκτήτες να το εκμεταλλευτούν.||Δεν υπήρχε κανένα ίχνος ιδιωτικότητας μιας και ήταν στο ισόγειο/είσοδο του μοτέλ στο δρόμο.||Δεν θα είχα βρεθεί σε δύσκολη θέση εάν όλα αυτά τα γνώριζα εξ αρχής, όποτε θα είχα το δικαίωμα να αποφασίσω εάν θα ήθελα να πληρώσω για ένα δωμάτιο-σπηλιά.||Είχα σκοπό να πάω μόνο με την κόρη μου και τελευταία στιγμή προέκυψε να πάρω μαζί και τον ανιψιό μου, ετών 5. Δεν ζήτησα καμία επιπλέον παροχή ή διευκόλυνση και ζήτησα συγγνώμη που δεν είχα ενημερώσει εξ αρχής.||Μου έκανε μεγάλη εντύπωση-αρνητική πάντα- το γεγονός ότι δεν μου έδωσαν μια παραπάνω πετσέτα μπάνιου ενώ είχα ένα παιδάκι ακόμα. ||Η τουαλέτα - μπάνιο ήταν μια τρύπα (στην κυριολεξία) και δεν υπήρχε κάποια περίφραξη στο ντουζ, με αποτέλεσμα να κάνουμε μπάνιο και να τρέχουν οι σαπουνάδες παντού (λεκάνη τουαλέτας, νιπτήρα κοκ)!! Τραγικό! Δεν είδα καμία φωτογραφία από το μπάνιο στο site! Μεγάλη κοροϊδία!||Η κακή εμπειρία κορυφώθηκε την επόμενη μέρα, όταν στις 9 το βράδυ μου τηλεφωνεί σε έξαλλη κατάσταση η ιδιοκτήτρια, ότι πλημμύρισε το δωμάτιο!!!!!||Έτρεξα σε πανικό και αντίκρισα μια τραγική κατάσταση, το δωμάτιό μου πλημμυρισμένο με τα νερά ως το δρόμο, τα πράγματά μας έξω και ένας πανικός ολουθε! 4 άνθρωποι προσπαθούσαν να μαζέψουν την κατάσταση και η ιδιοκτήτρια αστειευόταν! Δεν ζήτησε συγγνώμη, δεν είπε τίποτε που να δείχνει ότι νιώθει άσχημα γι αυτό που συνέβαινε!||Ήρθε ο υδραυλικός και διαπίστωσε ότι ο σωλήνας στον νιπτήρα του μπάνιου έσπασε/χάλασε και γι αυτό τόσο νερό....||Αναρωτιέμαι τι θα γινόταν εάν αυτό είχε συμβεί τη νύχτα, ενώ τα παιδιά μου κοιμούνται...||||Το λογικό σε αυτή την περίπτωση ήταν να ρωτήσω εάν υπάρχει άλλο δωμάτιο για να μείνω με τα παιδιά το βράδυ, καθώς δεν ενοιωθα ασφάλεια - Δεν υπήρχε ούτε δωμάτιο ούτε όμως και κάποια πρόταση βοήθειας και υποστήριξης!||Το επόμενο λογικό και αναμενόμενο ήταν να μην χρεωθώ το βράδυ του απίστευτου περιστατικού, καθώς ταλαιπωρήθηκα εν μέσω διακοπών, τα προσωπικά μου αντικείμενα και ρούχα ήταν στο δρόμο και τέθηκε θέμα ασφάλειας!||Δεν είπαν συγγνώμη, δεν μίλησαν για τη χρέωση, δεν έκαναν καμία απολύτως κίνηση σεβασμού προς τον πελάτη ώστε να να πούμε ότι ήταν μια άτυχης στιγμή και κυρίως να μη νοιώσω ανόητη!||Κατέληξα να διαπληκτίζομαι με την ιδιοκτήτρια, ο γιος της δεν πήρε κάποια σοβαρή θέση, απαθής...και έφυγα το επόμενο πρωί με τις χειρότερες εντυπώσεις!||||Συνοψίζοντας τα παραπάνω, δεν με αφορά η επιφανειακή ευγένεια ανθρώπων που μας βλέπουν μόνο κερδοσκοπικά, αλλά θεωρώ ότι στα δύσκολα φαίνεται η ευγένεια, το υποτιθέμενο οικογενειακο κλίμα, η φιλοξενία και ο επαγγελματισμός των...

In our four-days stay we felt like at home. The room and the entire hotel was perfectly clean (room made every day). Our private balcony with table was perfect to relax.
