What can I say? Amazing…you can taste the freshness of the seafood. Never have I ever had calamari that melts in my mouth like I did here and I’ve eaten all over the world where seafood is fresh from the boat,. It was next level. The octopus seasoned with anise or five spice blackened was amazing. Never would I have thought to season it that way. The tuna was great and grilled to perfection. Generous portions. They say small plates but these portions for small are more than generous. We had ate at Casa Su in the area the night before and got calamari which was chewy and rubbery so you could taste the freshness of the calamari and octopus immediately when eating here. We ate and drank like queens for £80 euros so much better value than some other restaurants in the area. The Greek potatoes were so crispy. This was such an amazing Greek traditional dining experience I highly recommend. A great ending to a great Greek vacation. The manager gave us lots of cool Greek surprises in between like Mastaki liquor (a Greek liquor only from a select island) which just added to the experience, to learn something new. Great staff very attentive and nice....

For the last night of our holiday we came to Mezze, and it was clear to me and my whole family that in the 10 days we had been there, Mezze was one of the best, if not the best meal we had. To start, the service was impeccable. Our waiter overheard us discussing about which meats on the split to get, and came over to inform us about portion sizes. He gave us a guide on how to order the perfect amount of food - a split each and nothing else, or a mix of starters and salad to share with one split between us. This is something we had struggled with all holiday, often ordering far too much due to being unaware of how large ‘appetiser’ portions would come out. We decided on the latter ordering option, and the food was nothing short of incredible. The best greek salad we’d had all holiday, a beautiful mushroom ragu, many different kinds of roasted vegetables, and the veal split was cooked to perfection. Ceviche sea bream in gazpacho red pepper was fresh and light . Grilled octopus was cooked to perfection and was not chewy . Homemade square pastas with squid In a lemon sauce was a summer tasting dish that surprised me the most . Lentil salad is a staple I get each time I go here . You must order this unique salad !
