Noodle Bar Γλυφάδα — Restaurant in Municipality of Glyfada

We sat outside and it’s kind of annoying because you hear a buzzer all the time by which they call their delivery guys. The staff has always been nice and helpful. The food is generally good but I am giving 4/5 because I ordered a dish one time that was drenched in onion and it was extremely heavy on my stomach. But the Pad Thai dish that I tried was quite good and so were the Bombay Potatoes. As a place it is situated in a kinda peaceful square of Glyfada. I am saying kinda because there is a cafeteria as well as a kids’ playground nearby and also a main street artery but it’s not too bad.

Edit 27/12/2024: Tried a salad from there. The one called wasabi. Terribly overpriced for what it was and the quantity. It was kinda bad. It was basically some lettuce and a couple cherry tomatoes with some wasabi sauce on top. Are you kidding me? And the portions of the food that came this time were smaller. Also again, the noodles I tried were very lackluster. What happened to you guys? We sat inside this time. Ok but nothing to write home about. I don’t think I can...

So I’ve been going there on and off for years and bottom line is I find it hard to recommend it lately. One time lately I went there and the ramen soup was like drinking water. Very bad experience. The Bombay potatoes are good as always and my friend told me that he always enjoys his noodles there. Also another friend got a Thai soup with shrimp and was very satisfied. So I guess it was only me..? Btw the salads are not worth it for the money and that’s not just my opinion. The staff so far have been very sweet and helpful and friendly. We also got the dumplings one time. They were good but few. And the prices are kinda high in my opinion but that is always relative. The reality is there aren’t many vegan options in Glyfada and this is one of the few. So maybe get the noodles or what you know for sure to be good..? It used to be noisier in the past, that has been a little fixed I think but still kinda noisy inside. So I've been enjoying coming to this establishment from the year 2002 which is the year. I believe that these guys opened their doors. It was the first time that I came to this specific location. I've been to some of their other locations around town and I have to say I was extremely happy to be invited for a special event for upcoming dumplings that are gonna be added to the menu this fall. I also have to say that this is a rather celebratory review that i'm writing as it is my 300 review on google. So I have had just about everything that they serve the soups. That noodles, the salads the that and I have to strongly recommend that they are all amazing. You know, sometimes somebody might not be having a great day so but...
