Bella Vespa — Restaurant in Municipality of Glyfada

Disappointing experience. Extremely overpriced and everything we ordered was anything from forgettable to straight up bad. The focaccia they bring at the start is a small 3- bite stick and along with the water we drank (4-person table) it cost us 18€ just for that. The salad was super basic and totally not worth 12€. The pizza was comparable to frozen super-market ones. We all ordered pasta and when they arrived they were all below room temperature and two of them were congealed and you could pick the entire thing up with a fork. They did replace them but the taste was mediocre at best.

All in all we paid 90€ for 4 pasta dishes, 1 salad, 1 pizza and the focaccia and water - NO drinks. Paying that much is fine if the quality of the food is good but in this case it wouldn't even be worth it at 1/2 of the price as there are Italian restaurants nearby that completely outclass this one at that price point.

Nothing positive to say, definitely won't visit again and I suggest anyone who sees this review tries one of the Italian restaurants in the near...

Maybe the best chicken-bell peppers pasta in Glyfada. Every bite was so succulently delicious. All the component were so fresh. However, personally I would prefered to have a little more chicken on my plate.

Nice atmosphere under the trees and polite-friendly staff. Since it was Sunday's lunch, there was a lot of children's buzzing around us.

At the end, they treated us with limonchelo and mastiha liquer.

PS: They need to become more careful about customers' allergies. The 1st waiter that we order knew it, but he didn't inform early enough the 2nd waitress that brought us the chaibatta bread with a sauce. The sauce on the side of chiabatta bread was allergic to one of us and she came back to tell us that in a while. Unfortunatelly, when she told us, we already had tasted. And then.....we started popping pills to prevent the allergy shock. ----And at the end, the 1st waiter brought us the liquer treat which was allergic and change it again. 4* for this stressfull...

Both dishes that we ordered were extremely salted. We returned the dishes. After waiting for 15 whole minutes, without even being asked if we want to order something else, the manager appeared stating that he, in general, likes his food somewhat salted. Yeah, but this is not the issue..

We didnt order anything else. The taste of the salt was still in our mouth so we proceeded with a dessert. Well, quess what! When the bill came, both dishes were in the check and they did not included the dessert, as a way to apologize to us.

Well that was not at all a good experience. I need to say though we have visited this place twice and the first time the service was really good. It seems that there is an issue in the consistency of the quality in...
