Had one night in Athens before flying back to uk on Friday, chose to have dinner at DB.one. We were not disappointed !!! We ate early so did not make a reservation being a Thursday but would imagine that reservations would be required especially on Fridays and at the weekend. The food was excellent as was the service,very comfortable we sat inside tables outside as well, if thats your preference. My brother in law and I fancied the short ribs dish to share, however this was only available on Friday and weekends, we suggested that should be indicated on the menu displayed outside, it wouldn’t have prevented us from eating here as the menu many other options but it might be useful too know beforehand. We subsequently chose the rack of lamb to share, our wives had the wagu burgers, selection of sides, wine and beer, would like to see more beer options only two available, but I only drink beer ( lager) hence the suggestion. Lamb cooked to perfection carved at the table, wives enjoyed their food , we all genuinely enjoyed our evening, nice atmosphere and an excellent restaurant !!!! We are regular visitors to Greece and Athens although our first time in this area, we most definitely be returning and dinner again at DB.one will be must !!!! highly...

Top marks!! So impressed with this high end steakhouse in what is a fairly affluent suburb of Athens. Boran (I think that’s his name) made us feel so welcome. Genuinely kind and treated us like guests in his own home. Stellar front of house.

Steaks are priced by weight and compared to prices in London and the US, they’re an absolute snip. We ordered a mixture of Aussie Wagyu and black Angus ribeye, strip loin and tenderloin. A meat feast. And I have to say the black Angus tenderloin is the one to go for. Melt in the mouth tender.

Sides and starters were all fantastic too.

Ultimately however it’s service, warmth and relaxed ambience of this place that wins it for me.

Would I recommend you visit? Save your pennies and go if ever you’re in Athens.
