Great unexpected spot for lunch as we were on our way to Knossos and took the wrong exit. Was recommended by the gas station attendant up the road so we gave it a go. Wanted a quick last lunch before flying out of Heraklion and found this restaurant on Google maps. Very clean, lovely English speaking waitress but best of all the food was delicious. We had a pork and chicken gyros. The pita was amazing and the meat was melt in your mouth. And the chips ... well I don't normally bother with the chips but these were something else. One of those food gems you stumble upon unintentionally. We found it on the way to Knossos palace. Totally authentic local food with no frills. All food looks, and tastes, supreme.
