I found this place while looking for something close to my house and homemade at the same time. At first, I thought it was just another meze spot packed on a Saturday afternoon, but I was pleasantly surprised. Katerina, the co-owner, has a really genuine personality and great vibe. All the food is made from scratch, and since a Turkish chef prepares the Anatolian dishes, the recipes and cooking style feel really authentic. The portions are pretty generous, and the prices are fair. For dessert, they have künefe and halva, which I loved. It was a bit noisy, but with so many people there, that’s expected. Would surely recommend Mezedopoiimata after a first visit for Sunday lunch of 4. The meat plates were of high quality(souvla chicken and souvla beef), with minimal fat, which is hard to find. Pricing is reasonable. Service is efficient. The desserts brought after the meal was the best I tasted for a long time. The food was great, although it was a bit overpriced. However, the portions were huge. There was a mixup with our table, which was not very good. We reserved a table and when we got there our table was not available by mistake, so we waited for 10-15 minutes to be seated. I wouldn't really mind that much (although it was a mistake) but I have an old couple with me (over 80 years old) one of which had surgery and was injured. If you go there you need to eat desserts!!
