Amazing family owned restaurant(third generations) Such a beautiful atmosphere, amazing service , delicious, delightful food… it what I LOVED the most were the pure beauty kind hearted souls who own the place … one of the best experiences Kalamata has to offer … it felt like Home being here … although they were very busy, but the gentleman whom I think must be the owner was so attentive to all my dietary restrictions and spend time explaining about their amazing dishes despite that I could not speak Greek. Both lady and the gentlemen were so nice and friendly and kind, and of course great at what they do ☺️ I did not feel rushed … the whole energy and ambiance was so beautiful and soothing , nostalgic too and every dish I tried was just next level amazing. But what I loved the most was his attitude… I felt welcome and he made sure language not to be a barrier and I was made understood and welcomed … I love the food, the decor and even the very cute way the wine was served 😊 beautiful people, beautiful service, beautiful food , beautiful environment… I highly recommend… it has a homey feeling to it which made my heart smile 😊

At the end they brought me a very simple dessert which was so great I can’t even believe a simple apple and jam could taste so heavenly together … it was simple yet amazing… the jam or what was similar to jam was so flavorful that still trying to figure out what it was made of … thank...

Definitely the best place to have dinner in Kalamata (we tried several other places before finding this gem). Here are several words to support this statement: The place is off the beaten tourist track - it is visited mainly by local people, which is always a good sign as Greeks are quite choosy when it comes to food and drinks The food is absolutely fantastic!!! Fresh local ingredients combined with traditional home-cooking style make all meals in this tavern delicious and unforgettable. The owner, who will also quickly take your orders, is a very polite and friendly guy. Last but not least the prices are more than reasonable - 2 persons could have a 3-course meal with drinks for less than 35 euro. Собсвеникът- Василис- ни посрещна в типичната за Гърция обстановка - дървени маси и столове, приятна музика. Първото впечатление беше, че в заведението нямаше хора от други националности освен гърци.
