We found this little restaurant online on TripAdvisor. It was really well rated, so we decided to try it, and let me tell you : it was worth it. It was so good that we came back a second time the day after.

The restaurant is located on a small public plaza near a busy street with a lot of clothing shops. This tavern isn’t accessible by car, but you can walk easily towards it. Just make sure to have google maps with you : we somewhat had a hard time finding it the first time, because it blends really well with the nearby shops.

Now it’s time to talk about my favourite part of this place (even though the decorations are beautiful), the food. For what you are paying, it is an absolute steal. The quality of the food was exceptional and the service was great. It just takes a little time to order, because the ladies that work there aren’t english speakers. It didn’t bother me at all because they were patient and very welcoming.

Touristic trap, do not fall for it. Honestly, I could give it 2-3 stars but the whole experience was really bad.

Service. Had to wait 40+ minutes for a couple souvlakia with pita. Even when they told us 1-2 minutes it took them another 15. If they had given us a warning when we ordered we would not have waited, this is unprofessional.

Food... Souvlakia pork and chicken where mediocre at best. Overcooked and not juicy at all. Only decent thing where the potatoes.

Generally I would not recommend to anyone, there are numerous better places or equally "good" where at least you do not have to spent all your...

A great place! We enjoyed both the chicken gyros and the vegetarian gyros, and they were delicious. The food was fresh and generous. The restaurant has seating outside set in an atmospheric old town square. After reading the reviews, we decided it was worth the trip, and we’re so glad we did!

Although we've visited Kalamata many times, this was our first time visiting the old town. Tzimis with its seating near the historic church and a lovely fountain shaded by trees unexpectedly lovely place in an otherwise modern...

Un endroit à visiter à Kalamata! Nous sommes y allés tôt le soir donc il n'y avait pas le grand monde (les Grecs dînent tard). Le souvlaki, pita sont délicieux et pas cher ! Le cadre est bien sympathique et également le personnel. 아마 칼라마타를 여행하시는 분들은 다 지나가봤을 것 같습니다. 수블라키를 맛보고 싶으시다면 여기로 가보세요. 저희는 저녁 일찍가서 사람이 없이 한적하게 테이블에 앉아서 먹었는데, 밤 9시경에는 사람이 되게 많고 명물 스트릿푸드라 지역 사람들이 여기저기 앉아서 서서 많이 먹더라구요. 가격도 저렴하니 추천합니다.
