Bitter — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalamata

Very bad experience in service and attitude. Being a diabetic, I asked for a diet coke. The waitress forgot our order and had to be reminded. She still took a long time but I had no problem with that as it was a busy night. Finally, our order arrived but after I had drank half the coke, I realized it was not diet! I called the waitress to see if she had forgotten and she simply said she remembered my order but as they did not have diet coke, she had brought a regular! I cannot stress enough how critical it is for a diabetic NOT to have sugar! But to hear it was not a mistake, but intentional is beyond comprehension! To make matters worse, the Manager simply said unapologetically "Sorry, it's just a mistake" (it wasn't) and added aggressively "What do you want us to do about it now?" Having to rush home to take an extra INSULIN Injection to deal with their "mistake" and stay up all night because of the extra sugar in my blood, I did not answer at the time. But now I can tell you what you could do: TRAIN YOUR STAFF to respect what the customer asks for and not bring whatever the store has available without informing him/her.

First bar I have visited in Kalamata. Its not bad however I think I found better bars close to the church. But it's nothing bad don't get me wrong. It's normal pub/bar with all you need and prices like everywhere...
