AM The Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Municipality of Karpathos

Definitely a locals place, which is nice. Was pretty crowded every time we walked by so we decided to try it. It was a big plus that they serve ILLY coffee, our favorite. We waited patiently at the counter to order coffee and viewed some of the pastries, etc. that they had. Took a bit as it seemed a bit unorganized and there was much chatter between the regulars and staff. Once we ordered we waited at the counter while coffees were prepared and then paid. Due to the “rushed” feeling, we opted not to partake in any of the food. Sat inside, as it was a bit cold for outside, and drank our coffee in a lively atmosphere of conversations and laughing. Coffee was a bit disappointing as it was bitter as compared to normal ILLY. Maybe just an off day for my tastebuds. Probably not my favorite location in town that we tried for coffee, but certainly worth of a visit if you want to blend with...

Friendly staff and the cappuccino was fine but quite mild. For a place that presents itself as a coffee shop, you’d expect higher quality coffee and a better experience. Serving everything in cardboard cups with plastic lids, even when drinking inside, is disappointing. It’s not only bad for the environment but also unpleasant to drink from as a coffee lover. Not sure if the even have ceramic cups? Could spot them anywhere. The café itself feels empty and under-decorated.

Strange detail: a single shot is made by pulling a double and letting one run off, which feels wasteful. Prices are low, but overall it misses the mark. Hopefully the owner reads this and makes improvements, because the place does...

Εντάξει… το μόνο που έχω να πω για το κατάστημα είναι το εξής : ταυτοπροσωπία της αρπαχτής στην Ελλάδα! Πηγαίνω την προηγούμενη το απόγευμα από αυτό το review έχοντας ακούσει πως το κατάστημα έχει καφέ από την Taf.Συναντάω μια ευγενέστατη κοπέλα εκεί, μιας και βρήκα τον αγαπημένο μου καφέ λέω θα πάρω ένα τετραπλό ρωτάω πόσο κοστίζει μου λέει 3,20€(όσο σε όλη την Ελλάδα σε πακέτο) η κοπέλα δείχνοντας μου το πίνακα με τις τιμές πληρώνω την ευχαριστώ και έφυγα. Γυρνάω το πρωί σήμερα πάω ξανά, παραγγέλνω τον ίδιο καφέ αλλά αυτήν την φορά πρέπει να ήταν η αφεντικίνα εκεί, ρωτάω ευγενικά πόσο κοστίζει και μου πετάει ένα 4,40€ πολύ ευγενικά της λέω πως μάλλον έχει γίνει κάποιο λάθος η κοπέλα χτες μου ζήτησε 3,2 και μου απαντάει πως η κοπέλα έκανε λάθος και πως το xl κάνει 3,2 με τρεις δόσεις της δείχνω ύστερα το πίνακα με τις τιμές όπου ξεκάθαρα γράφει double 3,2€ και μιας και δουλεύω και εγώ τον ίδιο ακριβώς καφέ ξέρω πως η συνταγή του δεν βγαίνει σε μόνη δόση από την εταιρία όποτε double εξού και δυο δόσεις.. μου δίνει την απόδειξη όπου απλά χτυπάει δυο καφέδες και ένα άντε γεια και λέω εγώ τώρα πόσο θα αφήνουν τέτοια άτομα να κάνουν μαγαζιά σου λέει τουρίστας (που δεν είμαι κιόλας) θα είναι ας το ξεσκίσω στην τιμή ένα καφέ πήρε στην τελική. Μπράβο παιδιά δώστε το καλό παράδειγμα. Δείξτε πρώτο χέρι τι λαμόγια είμαστε στην Ελλάδα σε όλο τον κόσμο! Όταν μετά δεν έχει πλέον τουρισμό να δω τι θα...
