Simply Burgers Kifissia — Restaurant in Municipality of Kifisia

Out of all the simply Burgers stores in Athens, I think Kifisia one it’s standards have dropped, the presentation of burger It’s so poor, it’s one of the poorest burgers I’ve ever had in my life. Simply burger is known of its richness concerning the beef they use and how big and thick the burger meat is, i’ve been eating simply burger like for over 18 years now, but this what I encountered today in Kifisia was the worst the meat burger was so thin I have never seen my favorite burger Beefeater this thin.shocking….the 2 meat burger they put, didn’t even add up for 1. Whoever eats Beefeater can understand what am talking about. The best so far who are keeping their standards is Vrilissia simply burger store all the time I go there the presentation, the appearance, they are still keeping the standards and portions of how thick the burger meat is and the freshness of their salad it’s just amazing. Even though I have moved a little far from Vrilisia now, I don’t mind driving there...

Once the best in town, 20 years later the service and the quality is not there anymore. 5 years ago we had two poor experiences. So we stopped for a while. Today, we thought we try again.

Ordered online, website is only rudimentary optimised for mobile phones, app does not download to non-greek app accounts, food arrived within the promised 45 minutes, but part of the order was not delivered, called for redelivery, waited another 45 minutes, wrong item delivered, driver did not take the wrong item back, called for refund, would have to wait for another 45 minutes for another driver to collect the wrong item (which will be wasted by then) to receive a refund. REALLY?!?! Imagine receiving a previously returned item like in this case a melted Ice cream that gets refrozen. It is either poor hygiene or they are stingy, and they do not admit their mistakes. I call this customer no-service.

Thankfully, there are alternatives to...

I have been a simply burgers customer when they opened their first shop. Their core product never has changed, good fries, good sauce and good burger. The issue is since then many other burger places have started offer good quality burger (at a slightly higher price) and our expectations have changed. For example Simply doesn't give brioche buns on their burgers and my guess is that they are true to their brand "Simply". Anyhow if you are looking for a good quality average taste takeaway burger this is the pick. Otherwise if you are willing to spend 2-3€ more on a burger there are better places...
