If you visit Kissamos you HAVE to visit Kantina. I can’t say much more than that - the rest of the reviews all say the same thing. It is definitely a case of don’t judge a book by its cover, and in fairness I think from the reviews we expected slow service but it was not slow at all and the souvlaki was absolutely incredible, the best I’ve ever tried in many years of visiting different areas in Greece. I also couldn’t believe the amount of food that turned up - I think for every skewer you order you also get a piece of toasted bread on the bbq. The tzatziki is to die for but the meat was obviously the main event. And be prepared to get your hands a little messy as there isn’t any cutlery, just amazing food and a really different setting that you don’t get on the promenade. Read moreWe saw this restaurant/fastfood place close to our Hotel and noticed it's good reviews, decided to give it a shot. They have a small menu they specialise in, barbecue scewers of 4 different sorts, in addition you can buy a lovely greek salad, a tasty fresh tzatziki and some fries.
We ordered a bit of everything and 8 bevrages and came out with a price of 53€ (2 adults/2 teenagers)
All the sqewers was great, if i had to rate them i'd put pork on top and the sausage on bottom.
