We went to this restaurant to watch a football game on euro, we kindly asked if it is possible to change channels. The waiter told us this was impossible to which we joked about leaving he then told us that if we wanted to go we could go, we now regret staying there because, this was the moment everything started to go bad. In the beginning they gave us plates for starters which they later declined to give us (including water) we later asked them what was the reason they told us this was not something they used to do, even though other tables were given everything. Most of the food was uneatable or buried in fat. Pizza looked like it was bought in a market 2 spaghettis were undercooked and one even gave one of us stomach problems for the next 2 days. After a series of bad reviews restaurant owners started responding to members of our group bringing the topic down to us being racist and intolerant trying to defend themselves. In the end I can’t blame the entire restaurant, because it was all caused by a single person(a guy with a big mustache) but trying to call us racist to defend their reputation is childish and...

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! I am not sure what transpired but the waiter proceeded to look at my partner and I as if we were foreign or something between us was weird and laughed as we proceeded to the restaurant. We are obviously on Holiday visiting from another country but thats besides the fact. This is an establishment who is serving people internationally and when they choose to spend their money on traditional food, it should come with the traditional experience. Let’s get into the cuisine. Being DAY 7 on our holiday in Crete this meal for vegetarians was “OK” not the best but we could tell the dishes were not made fresh. They were definitely left over dishes thrown on the plate within 2 minutes and served to us. Some dishes were served hot but others as such the domaldes leaves were extremely dry “TROCKEN” and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. The service was okay but majority of the waiters just sat around and didn’t engage us as other local Cretan Traditional Restaurants have. Of course, we are grateful for a meal but would not condone or promote...

5 of us ate here around 9pm on a monday in mid September. I'm thinking should I give 1 star or 2. I'll give it 1 star as one of my vegetarian friends vomited after and I did not feel well the next day along with my friends. I can only describe the food as oily and not cooked fresh, no matter what they say. 3 of us ordered moussaka, which was warm and mediocre. No taste, oily and obviously reheated. The other 2 vegetarian dishes were basically slop on a plate, full of oil, tasteless. The bread was hard and we ordered garlic bread which was awful. They also tried to charge us for things we did not order, seems a common thing looking at some of the reviews of this place. They made a song and dance about it when we queried the bill and my friend noticed they have a camera on each table. Anyway, we did not stay for the ice cream and shot of that raki. The plus for this place is the service was fast and attentive and the beer was cold. There are much better places than this, it was a disappointing meal,a complete...

This was the best food we’ve had in Crete! We ordered the vegetarian mixed platter and they were able to make it vegan which was great. It was a great array of local cuisine including dishes I hadn’t tried before and might not have ordered otherwise. The haricot beans were my favorite and I loved how tender the zucchini was in the mixed vegetable dish. My boyfriend loved the rice stuffed tomatoes. We ordered bread and olive tapenade and I asked for some olive oil to dip the bread in. To my surprise, and enjoyment 😄, I received a cute little bottle of olive oil! They brought out raki and a dessert which they informed us was vegan as well! The staff were all so nice! The restaurant is beachfront, you have amazing views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. My boyfriend and I couldn’t believe that the beach and the restaurant were not crowded at all. Additionally, I liked that the tablecloth gave the history of Crete. And as a bonus, we saw an adorable dog sunbathing and going for a dip in the ocean as we left!

Nice location by the sea, the lady at the front got me with the Cretan & Mediterranean diet dishes. I chose the cooked Cuttlefish with fennel and olives for dinner. It came along with half plate of boiled oily potatoes and the fish was not clearly visible in the sauce so I said it’s not my order but it actually was to my surprise. I didn’t took a picture as it didn’t look appetizing to be honest. However the taste of the fish was very soft and nice. I could not recognize nor enjoy the fennel in the brown red wine oily sauce. It was too heavy and not suitable for a Mediterranean diet dinner. Still, they ask everyone if OK and I said it was ok but too much and heavy and the owner said that menü is his favorite but heavy for dinner…thanks but that’s a little late now. It really didn’t sound heavy from the card and potatoes were not mentioned. A very nice cake was served in the end and the Greek Salat was OK too but the tomatoes where not the typically juicy greek tomatoes which is a pity.
