Outstanding experience at BABEL CAFE - Highly recommended! Had a wonderful time at BABEL CAFE in Kissamos with my family. The staff was absolutely exceptional - incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our children feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The pizzas were outstanding, with perfect crust and fresh toppings that really hit the spot. The red wine selection was excellent and paired beautifully with our meal. But what truly stood out were the cocktails - simply fantastic! A special shoutout to the mixologist who clearly knows their craft and created some memorable drinks. The restaurant maintains excellent hygiene standards - the restrooms were spotlessly clean and clearly maintained regularly, which is always appreciated, especially when dining with kids. BABEL CAFE delivers on all fronts: great food, exceptional drinks, attentive service, and a clean, welcoming environment. We'll definitely be back on our next visit...

Edit : when we sat down at the table the waitress told us with an attitude that this table was for people that were going to order food so we asked for the menu. She left upset and talked to another waiter who in turn came and told us that the table was reserved (the table had no such sign on it). As to the 3rd point made in the reply that the table was for 6 people, a. No it wasn't, 4 max and b. All the other similar tables around it just had 2 occupants. So which is it? The table was only if you were going to order food or was it reserved or was it for 6 people in contrast to literally all the tables of the same size around it that were for 2? Because to us it sounded like they just didn't want us there and so we opted to go to the café next door that had no table...

We stopped at Babel Café on our first evening in town and couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly — genuinely warm and attentive without being over the top. The food was excellent, with a menu that offered a great variety of options (surprisingly broad for a small town).

We sat overlooking the ocean as the sun set, and the evening slowly cooled — cocktails started coming out, music humming gently in the background, and you really felt like this was the place to be. In a town that can feel a bit quiet at times, Babel has an energy that makes you feel connected and alive.
