Coffee Q Roaster Company — Restaurant in Municipality of Kissamos

We went here every day during out stay in Kissamos. I called in advance to check that they had lactose free options for milk and they did. We came and I was happy to find that I could get my favorite blend of almond and soy milks. To be honest, the coffee in Crete has a sour taste to it so its hard for me to give a good rating on taste, because everywhere you go on the island its the same. But I still appreciated getting an iced latte from this place.

The service was great. A young woman attended us each day and was so patient as we practiced ordering in Greek. She prepared our coffees with a great attitude that made us feel welcome.

Ambiance - there is some outdoor seating under a covered palapa. There are old men out there smoking and talking, so no real desire to...

The barista didn't speak English so another customer had to translate. They claimed to have oat milk but both of us definitely got dairy which I can't drink due to being lactose intolerant. The barista has a proper machine but doesn't know how to make hot milk froth for a latte. So my husband had to also order an iced latte but then the person behind the counter frothed the milk for an iced latte..I gave my coffee away to a stranger and my husband threw it away. I can't...

Small coffee shop on a quiet side street. Unfortunately, the coffee was not very good. I thought with the La Marzocco machine they would do better, but unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed.

Edit: Even more disappointed after the owners commented on this review in an unfriendly and unprofessional way - this is not how you respond to criticism. I am a coffee professional so yes I know how to judge good or bad coffee. Ours just wasn’t very good the day...
