After dining here many times in the past we decided as a treat to go again as the food had been exceptionally good previously, however the whole experience this time was a let down, it was if they could not be bothered and the mixed grill for two was pathetic to say the least, we understand the prices have risen but it worked out at 30€ per person and no desserts were ordered, needless too say that is the last visit. well I gave in as we were asked to dine here by my family and friends 8 of us altogether we started by ordering drinks one of which included a sprite the waiter replied we don't do sprite we have similar gazoza as many will know it is nothing like sprite,so as in any other I asked if I could buy one from the supermarket literally next to the restaurant entrance or if they would be willing to purchase one and I would obviously pay their price, they refused point blank!!! Needless to say the party of 8 got up and left and went and spent 300€ in another restaurant that sold sprite,we visit at least 30 different restaurants a year here and if any do not have sprite I ask if I can supply my own (i carry 2 cans in my car) no other restaurant has refused our wish, As they respect their customers wishes and taste. Will NEVER go in this restaurant again! a very poor...

Lovely place, excellent food with the best desserts!

We sat outside in small cousy town square like place. Next to the fountain you can see on the pictures. There is also a small church or something, anyways sitting there felt unexpectedly nice.

The food was excellent and well proportioned. For once i ate all of the side on the dish, the salad was really tasty.

The service was alright, but that was due to our waitress being hungover. The other waitresses were nice and friendly.

The desert, OMG, holy cowwww! Legitimately the best chocolate cake I've ever had. I felt like a child unboxing a Christmas present. With each bite. I've never had the experience of eating something that made feel so... So.. Happy! Ohh myy, i now regret not eating another one of those. The struggle of eating yourself sick vs the worth of eating something so delicious. Take this with a grain of salt, it is a personal opinion after all.

The desert were very cheap! Only 3.50 for the cakes. Also, they have a lot of desert choices, sorberts, waffles and cakes. I think around 30 different deserts. Beats any other restaurant we've been to by a landslide.

I highly recommend this restaurant,...

Absolutely horrific.

Food is mediocre, however this is the least of their problems. Service is absolutely appalling. Due to lack of restaurant options in the town we visited twice, and on both occasions left feeling outraged, violated and disappointed. On the first time the fat lazy waitresses with a typical "couldn't care less attitude" took 1 HOUR to come and clear the table (which we had to ask them to do) before we ordered dessert. Dessert took another 45 minutes with each dish arriving separately. The waitresses are extremely rude and unaccomadating.

On the second occasion, my glass was very dirty with bits of brown food remains in it - when we called the waitress over she sighed and remarked "WHAT HAPPENED", when I pointed out the dirt in the glass she replied "it's only coffee" and under duress changed the glass.

They then proceeded to wash our salads in TOILET WATER out of spite which was absolutely revolting.

AVOID...

There are some rare occasions in life where you have an experience that you know, right then and there, will never be beaten. This was one of those occasions. We stopped in after a morning at Balos for a late lunch, and sat under the shade on the terrace here. The staff were all very friendly. I caught sight of an amazing looking salad being taken to another table and asked if we could have the same, it was the Aeras green salad and it was UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!! Without a doubt the best salad I've ever eaten. I wish we were in the area for longer because I would be eating this every meal. It is truly amazing. The rest of the meal was equally as amazing, especially the moussaka, which was so, so smooth and creamy. All of this at very, very reasonable prices (3 adults ate far more than we should have for about €35). Strongly recommend having a meal here if you're nearby, or even making a trip especially for it, it's that good.

This is in the main square .. very friendly waiter and fast service. David got the pork steak and I get the lamb knuckle. We also got a carafe of house red wine. Ordered a garlic bread and a fruit plate. All in all a very good meal.... We were surprised at the quality of food .... We sat across the street from the main restaurant by the fountain..... Ope n air but covered... Lots of traffic but it wasn't a problem. Try the Lyra beer we had it earlier and it's a local Kissamos beer. The reason the rose is in the photo is because the sweet, darling woman at Everest laundry gave it to me when I picked up our laundry.
