★★★★☆ – Lovely place, great service, but a few small food misses

Anna’s Restaurant on Kos is a charming and cozy spot, with a beautiful outdoor setting right by the water. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed, especially with the warm and welcoming service we received from the staff throughout the evening.

The food overall was tasty and well-prepared. However, there were a couple of small letdowns: The moussaka, while comforting, felt a bit bland and lacked the depth and richness we had hoped for. The Southern-style chicken dish also left us wanting a bit more – both in portion size and in flavor. The menu mentions drumsticks, but what we received were small chicken tenders that didn’t quite live up to the expectation. A bit more seasoning and authenticity in that dish would have gone a long way. Also the milkshake was a little boring.

Despite those minor food issues, the overall experience was still very enjoyable. The atmosphere by the water is lovely, and it’s a great place to unwind with a meal while watching the sea.

If you're visiting Kos and want a peaceful dinner with good food and friendly service, Anna’s Restaurant is a very solid choice.

From the wonderful warm welcome, beautiful sea front setting to the fantastic food this place doesn't disappoint. Had heard people talking about Anna's so decided to give it a try, and we are so glad we did (enjoyed it so much we came another time during our stay in Kardamena). The food is so tasty and the portions are huge with a varied menu which caters for all tastes. We were all given a free dessert at the end of the meal too, my son who is lactose intolerant couldn't eat any of them so they made him a special fruit bowl up which was nice. Nothing is too much trouble for them and can honestly say it was probably the best meal we ate while in Kardamena. I would recommend booking a table as every time we went the place...

We passed here a few times and decided to try because one of the specials was Chicken Stroganoff. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was relaxed and a lovely view out to sea. We came back for a second time, and of course, I had the Chicken Stroganoff again! 🤣 I love it! My husband was recommended a lamb special, and he was not disappointed. I really enjoyed the creamy mushrooms, too. Prices are very reasonable and a little perk is a little dessert 'on the house' at the end of your meal. Which are very nice.
