banana beach bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

For the past 5 years, I have visited kardamena in the summer as I think it is a great place compared to stopping in Birmingham. Due to admittingly being wee bit fussy, in what I do eat when im abroad. So i always go to eat daily at the Banana Beach Bar. The team there is great.

All the food is fresh and absolutely lovely. whatever you order, you get a big freshly prepared, cooked portion of whatever you have ordered. Yes, they do English Dishes... The food is not expensive . And a great menu is on offer to suit all tastes. Large seating area with a various array of tables and chairs to cater for either large family groups or single dining

They also have a great bar for draught alcohol and bottled beers, ciders , spirits, etc... so after I've eaten, I always sit at the bar having a drink and banter as you watch the world go by. They have toilet facilities there for the customers which are cleaned and maintained. They also have 10 pairs of sunbeds opposite the bar on the beach. These can be rented out daily by customers using the banana bar. The vista is so tranquil and relaxing . Whilst the banter is A1. In my past years visiting, I have noticed that both new and past customers return daily. This is purely due to the reputation that the Banana Beach Bar have built for their friendly and welcoming service and the great food that is served. I will be returning again Sept 25.... Great...

Very rude and unwelcoming. Not a smile to be seen. We just asked for a Greek coffee and she replied “We’re English” and then gave us the “clear off” stare. Never asked where you’re from, love…just wanted a Greek coffee. So I guess you can’t get a Greek coffee here! Ta-ra!

Really nice to hear that you CAN make a Greek coffee - it’s clear to see you were unwelcoming in the way that you made no effort to do that for a customer who requested it as you are a proud “English” bar!

There’s just a way of saying things: I’m sorry, we don’t stock Greek coffee. Waitress was not even wearing a mask. I’m not saying you won’t survive, I’m very pleased for you that you are doing well without my custom - I’m just giving an account of the experience I had that day so no need for the patronising tone. Terrible service – we weren’t wellcome at all

Staff judged us the moment we arrived. When clients come to your restaurant they don’t want to hear your financial problems lol

You’ve lost customers. I’m a blogger, and I’ve already told my audience about your awful staff and terrible service. No wonder you’re having financial problems — you don’t know how to run a business.

If I said I wasn’t hungry, that doesn’t mean I didn’t want a drink. And even then, you barely have anything to drink — just sugary juices and a smoothie I (your customer) never even received.

I sincerely hope you learn how to run a proper business and teach your staff some basic manners — though that mostly comes down to upbringing.

Treated with zero respect. We came to enjoy ourselves and were ready to spend — instead, we were embarrassed and pushed away. Don’t waste...
