Vallis Gourmet Bistro — Restaurant in Municipality of Lavreotiki

Coming to Greece gave me an opportunity to enjoy much of the beaches but also the amazing cuisine that this country has to offer, I then stumbled upon this cosy place, I had already heard about it on FB and saw the amazing delicacies which were being served and being a burger man i went to try one, what to say then simply putting it in this word FANTASTIC, it has everything you will love in it and then its accompanied with homemade fries and mustard mayonnaise. I instantly fell in love with the place not only the staff but the environment is very inviting the cocktails the surround music and especially the Chef/owner Ricky which still manages to come and speak with customers even though he is doing the cooking, there are so many things to say about this place that i would need a whole day to speak about it, i not only recommend it but if you looking to have a breakfast in the mornings i would say you will have an amazing experience here, eggs Benedict, french toast, pancakes and then the espresso coffee all of this you will find here and more he will always have small surprises specially with his homemade desserts, last one i had was a chocolate cake. This restaurant it's a jewel in the Lavrio area, it has a great atmosphere and delicious food . My personal two favorites so far are: the unique burger, a classic that has been elevated to a gourmet snack with the crispy but perfectly cooked potatoes, a delicious mayo, a bit of caramelized onions, not to mention the soft brioche bread... The smoked salmon carpaccio was a trip, I loved the seasoning, the quality of the salmon was very good, but mixed with the orange and the arugula, it's an explosion of textures and flavors in the mouth, that do the click! I loved it. To me this restaurant proves that good taste and passion is all you need to make fantastic food! Did I already mentioned the amazing service? A nice cozy spot hidden away on a side street (στοά) with friendly staff and a selection of indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate all tastes. The drinks were good but the food less so. The quesadillas were way too greasy (albeit tasty), the mushroom risotto at a thick soup consistency at the time of serving with the rice way undercooked, and the burger ordered turned out to be… a hot dog. Might have simply been a bad streak of luck and in fairness we did not raise the food issues with our server. Maybe it all works great on an average...
