Artion — Restaurant in Municipality of Marathonas

We came all the way from Germany to Greece. We searched for a Restaurant and found this one. We are very pleased by the Ambiente, there was nice Music and a traditional interrior style. The Service was amazing, heartwearming and always made sure, that everything was alright. The most important part is the food: we were 5 people and had different kinds of meals (Pasta, Burger, traditional Food,…). We all agree, that the meals are amazing and if we could have, we would have come a second time. This place has a relaxing vibe. The staff are very nice. It’s always filled with patrons. It took me 3 years to actually go inside. There is a takeout cafe inside the store with excellent coffee. Ask if the food item is made in store. You will be surprised at how many items are made in-store. My favourite are the Koulouria Thessaloniki’s which are similar to bagels. They are made fresh to your table and served warm. I think they should have some Philadelphia cream cheese on hand as an option for those of us desperate to have a bagel with cream cheese. I’m so thrilled to have Artion as a cornerstone world class social experience. It is the most amazing combination of artful ambience, delicious food including home baked cookies and pastries, coffee and cocktails you desire. We had the fireplace experience with all things cozy and beautiful around. If you are visiting Mati, do not miss this amazing place.
