I go to Kastellorizo almost every year the last 6 years. All these years I never had a negative experience on this wonderful island until this year (2019). We went for a swim to the lighthouse as usual to enjoy the water and the calmness of this place. Unfortunately we experienced the exact opposite, regarding the calmness. The place was transformed to a beach bar, with music not suitable of the location and way over the comfort volume. We kindly asked the manager to lower the volume of the music and got an unrespectful arrogant answer “this is a beach bar [note: there is no beach there] and I can set the volume of the music as I desire”. Fabulous Faros!👍 Faros is a Bar/Restaurant on the waterfront on Kastellorizo Harbour. Food is great and reasonably priced. Service is warm and friendly. It’s an expensive day club lounge at the tip of the port. Great swimming - atmosphere gets a 5+. Service is just OK and the food was inedible. However, the beer was freezing cold.
