ΜΠΕΡΕΚΕΤΙ/BEREKETI — Restaurant in Municipality of Milopotamos

I’m writing this review whilst still sitting in the restaurant.

We are on holiday on the island and decided to spend an evening in the local town. Some people at the hotel recommended this place and said they had a lovely meal. I love a recommendation.

We were told they had live music on Sunday night, so we thought we would give that a go. What a lovely atmosphere. The street has been closed to allow seating to be put outside in the lovely evening weather.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the swordfish which was incredibly fresh, my partner had the seafood spaghetti which again was very tasty. My children where very happy with the selection of child friendly meals.

What a lovely new restaurant in Panormo. The food is delicious with lots of local choices, as well as burgers, pasta and pizzas etc. Also, it’s a fabulous option for vegetarians and vegans and the vegetarian or vegan gyros (I’m vegetarian so I had the vegan gyros but with their delicious tzatziki) was amazing. Their baked vegetables were wonderful as well. My husband and son tried various meat options and thoroughly enjoyed them. Everything was fresh and homemade. It’s not expensive at all and service is with a big smile. Staff are so friendly and very kind, and they made our little boy’s birthday celebrations very special. We ate there twice and would return. We have been exited for our food.but after waiting for 1+hour its just to long. The food should not take longer then 20 min… and after we become our food it was lukewarm..some places on my steak was raw… And on our 3 week trip it was the most expensive so far…

I think the main problem in this restaurant is that they keep adding more and more tables outside and they can’t keep up with the orders in first place… They should only have like maximum 10-12 tables ore even less for such a small kitchen. Ech odert foods would then also be ready in maximum 20 min and people would be happy and satisfied...
