A honest review.... Location Location Location....the restaurant is one of only a few in the small town of Panormos and I can see why people eat here, as the location and view is really nice.... The staff again really nice and friendly.... We eat here two days ago and it was roughly a quarter full. Service was friendly and quick....
The major let down was the food....The menu is limited and doesn't offer much choice....we really wanted a traditional Greek Gyros but they didn't have it. You could have some fresh fish dishes but again not a great deal of choice. They did have a kids menu which our kids welcomed and had a few steaks, but they were pricey and seemed a gamble....
I ordered a pasta carbonara not greek but took my fancy. My wife had the Chicken Slovaki. Kids had usual nuggets and a burger...
And we had some garlic bread to start......
Food came quick enough, Garlic Bread...this was literally toast with small spread of garlic butter... The butter hadn't fully melted and was only enough to cover half the bread....
Then the.mains.... My pasta, I will give them something. I got a lot, but really bland and tasteless. I gave up after 8 or 10 bites.
The Slovakia was again, tasteless and very greasy...it was actually not as good as the all inclusive kebabs we had earlier in the week.... Kids said the chips were good...but the kids burger was burnt and again very very greasy...
Desert we didn't have anything but the kids saw a clown bowl desert and wanted one....so I asked what it was and ordered 2.... What they got was 2 scoops of ice cream in a bowl with a cone upside down...I presume to look like a nose....the issue being they were 6.50 euros each....for basically an ice cream cone and two scoops.
The drinks were OK, but overall a real shame and not the cheapest....100% people will go due to the location, but I just don't get how a chef can knock that garbage out and be happy....you see in the kitchen going to the toilet....and it is a good set up and as I said not busy....so why I don't know...a real shame.... Location Great View Great Staff Great Atmosphere Good Drinks Good Price...
Read moreWe had an incredible dining experience with stunning views of the ocean and an unforgettable sunset to top it all off. The atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant—perfect for a leisurely meal.
We ordered a delicious spread: a classic Greek salad bursting with freshness, grilled sardines, a trio of traditional dips served with warm bread, tender grilled squid, and two perfectly cooked whole fish—sea bream and sea bass. The staff even took the time to debone the fish at the table, which was a thoughtful touch that made the meal even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights was the prawns in tomato and feta sauce—flavorful, rich, and uniquely Greek. Their wine selection was impressive and paired beautifully with the seafood.
Service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Every detail was taken care of with care and precision, making us feel truly welcomed and well looked after.
This was more than just a meal—it was a full sensory experience, from the tastes and textures to the ocean breeze and golden sunset. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Greek flavors in a...
Read moreThis place is one of the reasons we had such a good holiday in Panormos:
The food is delicious (cooked by the mother of the three sibling owners) and very rich in variation. We can especially recommend Feta from the oven, the grilled Dorade, and lamb "Kleftiko". Each meal is completed by a delicious dessert and some Raki on the house.
On top of that, the location could not be better: You sit right next to the sea and can look down to the beach. During your whole meal you will hear the waves rolling onto the shore.
The staff is superfriendly and attentive. They will recognize you from your first visit and even remember small details. My children, moreover, loved the enormous generosity in regard to "one" ice cream ball ;)
Hence, I can 100% recommend to go here (again...
