Galini Taverna — Restaurant in Municipality of Milopotamos

Galini Taverna was the best choice for us to eat in Bali, Crete. The waiters were very polite, always smiling and eager to help us with anything.

We were at Galini in our first day of arrival and then we tried a few tavernas in the area, just to explore other options. Then we realized Galini is the best and ate here every day until we left the island. Just an example, compared with Psaropoula, Akrogiali, Porto Paradiso, at Galini they did not charge us for the bread they brought to the table.

We had very, very, very delicious food (fish, mix grill, mix fish for two, chicken a la creme, souvlaki, gyros - both pork and chicken), big portions and the dessert was on the house: fruits (watermelon, grapes), ice cream and Cretan raki. Some might say it is not much, but there are these small details that made for us the best taverna in Bali.

While eating, you have a very nice view to the sea and Varkotopos beach.

I would come back to Bali as soon as possible only to eat at this...

Simply The best meals ive had in years, i had lamb kleftico, and it was simply delicious,wife had fish meal for one ,and she loved it, day before we had mixed grill for 2, and that was simply delicious,and the greek salad was yummy, and you get big portions, too, and great service .not eat at all the restsuraunts in Bali, but i dont need to go anywhere else as the meals are so tasty, fullfilling and delicious down to the last fork.my absolutely compliments to the chef,who knows how to cook delicious greek food,and yes they do cook ,spaghetti, pizzas,and the like .Go there and you will not be...

nice taverna near the sea in Varkotopos bay, i appreciated very much the design of this place ( a mix between traditional and modern) and of course, the food. i also tried their white semi-sweet home wine and i liked it very much. the serving is pretty fast, depending on how busy the place is so you'd better come before 7.30 pm, otherwise you might have to wait for a table to become available. anyway, being a busy taverna is a grear sign of the quality. at the end of the meal they offer fresh fruit and some traditional raki. we ate here 2 times during our 1 week stay in Bali and we do...
