Read moreFood was nice and we decided to eat here for our final night after reading the good online reviews, but the service was incredibly slow and we had to ask for menus and to order etc. Starters came out fairly quickly but the mains just didn’t come out. From sitting at the table the mains came out two hours later, and only after asking several times what the hold up was. We where offered two desserts to make up for the wait, however we just wanted to go home by this point so declined and was offered 10% off the bill, which was a nice gesture. During this time we where not offered any bread and when various members of staff came over eventually to apologise after calling staff over was not even asked if we would like to order any more drinks and we sat there with our empty glasses the entire time, the cocktails where delicious so we would have ordered some more if someone had asked but by this time we had given up calling staff over who clearly didn’t want to. When the food did arrive the majority was tasty, however the seafood pasta had hardly any full clams and one was shattered, but by this point we had...
Read moreQuite a bizarre experience.. my wife didn't like her dish. I tried it to see what was wrong - bland / no flavor, hardly edible. We asked to change the dish. They began educating us on the ingredients. I asked again if it was ok to replace the dish, they did "with no problem at all." After that the waiter wouldn't come up to us for the remainder of the night. Not once. It was about an hour after we ate, but we didn't mind since we enjoyed the view. Finally I asked the manager for the check. They added the replaced dish to the bill, then argued with us, embarrassing himself and us in the middle of the restaurant.
If they told us they'd charge us for the dish before replacing it, it would have been fine. But it was the sneaky action that I'd immediately fire someone for. I own two restaurants in Atlanta and one in California.
In terms of the food, it's Olive garden in Mykonos with spacious seating and a beautiful view. If you're looking for something traditional, this is not the place (we were). If you're looking for an Americanized restaurant with a lot of space in Greece then it's...
