Martano — Restaurant in Municipality of Mytilene

We visited this restaurant as two people and initially sat inside because there were no available tables outside. Later, we saw that some outdoor tables became free, so we asked to move outside. However, the staff told us we couldn’t sit there because the table was for four people. Strangely, just minutes later, they seated a single person at the same table. We also noticed other 4-person tables outside with only two people seated.

This made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We strongly suspect this treatment was due to us being Turkish, which is extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and we would not recommend this...

I sat down for late lunch. Only 4-5 tables were occupied and were all served. I was waiting for almost 10 minutes being completely ignored by the waiting staff. I made eye contact with one of them and did not even approach me to see why I was sitting in one of their tables! I decided to leave after 10 mins of being ignored and while I was leaving g, one of the waiters passed by me to deliver the bill to the table next to me and did not even stop to ask me why I was leaving! Unbelievably bad service, which seems to be a pattern...

We ordered three different pizzas and I clearly stated that we don't want any olives in our pizza to the waiter. Then they served all the pizza with olives. Then took it and removed all olives from pizza, we understood from grooves over these pizza. They though that they are so clever that we would not understand the difference.
