Archaeological Museum of Mytilene — Attraction in Municipality of Mytilene

The location of the museum is so close to Ferries. We walked all the way there but be careful on sunny days. It may be hot, wear your hat.

The museum is so close to a park and a beach. If you have swimsuits with you, you may swim.

When you get in there, there is a small reception on the left. If you don’t want to carry your backpack with you, there are locked wardrobes.

It looks like museum is a calm place and few people visits there but valuable.

There is always a lady directs you during the trip. Rooms are little bit complicated but someone helps, no worries.

Il museo è piccolo, naturalmente. Costa solo €2. Se avete più di 65 anni costa solo €1. Possiede una raccolta di mosaici romani incredibilmente ben conservati e posti in modo esemplare per facilitarne la fruibilità da parte dei visitatori. Se avete un po' di tempo e se amate la cultura, vale assolutamente la visita.

They are presented in such a way that maximize the possibility of fruition by the visitor. In case you have time enough and if you love the culture......

The museum has many artifacts that were excavated on the island, it is interesting to walk and read, comparing it with history. The entrance cost 4 euros, the employees are polite, but it was a little uncomfortable when they followed you and talked to each other.
