Unfortunately it seems that Mytilene lacks investments to preserve its town’s history. The square, as the city, had a decadent state almost like as if it was long abandoned and forgotten. Don’t get me wrong, I still think it worth visiting, but it is not as beautiful was it could be with proper care.

Sappho Square is a vibrant place and central plaza of Mytilene, I always park my motorcycle there and walk around the city center, very pleasant vibes with the combination of seascapes scenery and iconic waterfront buildings
