Absolutely unforgettable breakfast experience in Chalki!

We stumbled upon Cafe Greco during a morning stroll through the beautiful village of Chalki — and we were completely blown away.

Everything we ordered was simply perfect: 🥧 The cheese pie was warm, flaky, and deeply flavorful, 🍮 the bougatsa was melt-in-your-mouth good, 🍊 the orange pie was the best we’ve ever tasted, moist and fragrant, 🍋 and the homemade lemonade was pure sunshine in a glass — zesty, refreshing, and naturally sweet.

The ingredients taste genuinely local and fresh, and the balance of flavor and texture in every dish is remarkable. It’s not often that breakfast leaves such a strong impression, but this was next-level homemade quality, served with a smile in a peaceful, shaded square.

If you’re anywhere near Chalki, don’t miss this place. It’s a must. We only wish we could have breakfast here every day!

Came here on a Friday night after a heat wave day, to eat in a place away from the noise and bustle of Chora (Naxos town). Quiet and relaxed, good music, excellent service from an attentive and helpful waitress, Aphrodite. We ordered an omelette and cheddar burger, but we were given a nice treat of a fruit salad to start, an accident, but a happy one, since we loved the fresh fruit before our main courses, which were very much a cut above the average. All products were sourced locally and you could taste it. My dessert and coffee were delicious. They were needed to keep me alert to deal with the demands of the drive back down to Chora in the dark. Chalki has an air of elegance and poise, which is difficult to pin down, a distinctly significant and historically prosperous air to it. Today as a place for eating and refreshment, it is punching well above...

It is a super cute cafe in a nice location. The decoration and the design is made with taste and is beautiful! The food (we had the orange pie) is of high quality and very recommendable! Unfortunately, the waitress took a long time to bring us the menu, take the order and in the end also forgot to bring us our order... after asking her, she also pretended to have not forgotten, insted of apologizing... (to give you a number, we waited 30 minutes in total, for a cake and 2 coffees and the place was not full). It's a petty, since the place...
