Worst french fries ever. Whoever from our table was unlucky to eat ended up with diarrhea and throwing up. Bread was average and baked feta extemely salty. As to the rest fine and also the service nice and polite. As to the answer. Gastrenteritis...how convenient to put it on that...let alone we dont know or heard anyone this time having that...let alone tonight we are fine after our body rejected the food poisoning toxins. Some got sick immediately after leaving the premises and some 4hours after...Either potato handling was not proper or the oil had been used to foamy levels of burning X hours. Hopefully, you will improve. Bread was fresh indeed, but taste was definitely no sour dough bread as descibed in the menu. One star for a day lost as a result of dining there. A pity...

The food is about average I would say. Unfortunately we were not treated with respect and as a Greek I am terribly sorry on behalf of them.

We waited for at least 20 mins to get a bottle of water and our table cleaned up. Our food was eventually served about an hour later.. after I insisted multiple times. There were at least a couple other parties from Italy - families of 4 and 8 respectively - that got seated before us and got their food way later, about 1 1/2 hours; that alone is UNACCEPTABLE. They were patiently waiting and never complained until I actually asked those guys myself. For some reason, the staff and business owners were not expecting that many people that day and apparently could not meet the demand. This is the answer I got after I vocally complained to our server. At least they could have been honest with us and state that it will take longer before we get seated and served. We asked for some "forgotten" dishes plenty of times, our server was going up and down, he looked lost and tired.

Το φαγητο ειναι μετριο. Δυστυχως δεν μας φερθηκαν σωστα και με σεβασμο και σαν Ελληνας ντρεπομαι για λογαριασμο τους. Περιμεναμε τουλαχιστον 20 λεπτα να μας καθαρισουν το τραπεζι και να μας φερουν νερο. Τελικα το φαγητο μας ηρθε μετα απο 1 ωρα, εφοσον παραπονεθηκα και επεμεινα αρκετες φορες. Ηταν τουλαχιστον αλλες 2 παρεες, οικογενειες με παιδια, που ενω ηρθαν πριν απο εμας εξυπηρετηθηκαν αργοτερα, το οποιο ειναι ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟ. Εκεινοι δεν παραπονεθηκαν, εγω τους μιλησα και μου εξηγησαν (ηταν απ την Ιταλια και οι 2 οικογενειες). Για καποιο λογο το προσωπικο δεν περιμενε τοση κινηση και προφανως δεν μπορουσαν να ανταπεξελθουν - αυτο μου ειπαν οταν διαμαρτυρηθηκα στο τελος για την αντιμετωπιση τους. Ας μας ελεγαν εξ αρχης οτι θα παρει καποια ωρα να μας σερβιρουν και να ειναι ξεκαθαροι. Ζητησαμε τοσες φορες αυτα που μας ελειπαν, ο σερβιτορος πηγαινοερχοταν...

Wow! Unexpectedly among the best meals we had in our two week trip to Greece. We wandered across Paravas as we explored Chalkio. It has a great setting right on one of the main streets. Service was quick and friendly.

Their version of a Greek salad was excellent as was the spicy cheese with fresh hot Pita. They have souvlaki on pita for 4/5 Euros- highly recommend the sausage, the homemade sausage was fantastic. We also had the meatballs which were the best we had the whole trip. Everything we had was great.

Their menu says everything is sourced locally in Naxos.
