Visiting the Fish & Olive Gallery in Halki village was one of the highlights of my trip to Naxos. The gallery is a beautiful space that showcases a breath-taking collection of ceramics and art, each piece echoing the essence of the island’s rich heritage and natural beauty.
What struck me most was the originality and craftsmanship of the ceramics. The designs are both timeless and modern, making each piece a unique work of art. The gallery exudes a calm, serene atmosphere that invites you to take your time exploring and appreciating the intricate details of the artwork.
Alex and his team have curated an exceptional collection that reflects a deep respect for Greek culture and nature. Their enthusiasm and knowledge about each piece made my visit even more enjoyable. They were incredibly welcoming, and their passion for what they do is evident in every aspect of the gallery.
I couldn’t leave without purchasing a stunning ceramic piece that now serves as a wonderful reminder of my time in Naxos. If you find yourself in Halki, I highly recommend stopping by the Fish & Olive Gallery—you’ll find something truly special...

Katerina uses the perfect form and function of the olive to express her work in clay. Nothing is made in quantity. Each piece has its own personality. Every time I visit Naxos, a visit to see what new creations are developing with Fish & Olive is top of the list. I'd give it 7...
Read moreTruly an amazing gallery (there is a separate shop to buy textiles and other items) of stunningly beautiful and unique ceramic and marble “pieces” as well as wall art. It’s totally unique and almost impossible to describe but a MUST visit if you’re nearby on Naxos.
These really are collectors pieces of unique truly stunning works of art not mass produced items.
This is a gallery not a shop. You may have to wait just a few moments to enter if it’s busy. This is to allow for quality of service so that each customer gets to view the items individually not over someone’s shoulder or backpack. I love this approach as it encourages a calm and refined experience.
The staff are incredibly kind, knowledgeable and absolutely delightful...
