Lemon Cafe — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

As others have mentioned, do not go here with a dog!

We have travelled extensively with our pug (35 country level extensively) and always say Greece is our favourite country as we never encounter issues with her - until she was sat in this place!

After waiting an age to be brought a menu and a further 10 minutes to get our order taken, a rude man came over and told us our dog was not allowed to sit on my husbands lap (on an outdoor table)!! She wasn’t on the furniture, she wasn’t so much as touching the furniture, she was sat 100% contained on his lap! What makes it more frustrating is that the lady that took our order was well aware she was on his lap when she took the order so if this was such a stringent policy could have told us before ordering.

Seems a little bit suspicious that he waited until after we ordered to come over and say anything!

Needless to say we got up and left and told him we didn’t want the drinks that took 20 minutes to order.

A huge disappointment and a shame for a country that is so friendly and welcoming to all,...

Unacceptable behavior. We went to sit on an outdoor table with our dog and been told that not to sit because pets are not allowed. We asked why because it’s a public outside area and the owner told us that pets disturb the other costumers. When we told them that we’ll call the police they became offensive. We decided to leave because we didn’t want to cause a scene and ruin our vacation but in 2023 this kind of management and behavior is...
