Amici Pizza Naxos — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

When we came we were greeted very nicely, ordered a large pizza and later got the drinks. At 19:24 i took the first photo of the sunset, the restaurant got quite bussy which ofc is normal. At 19:52 i took a photo of my partner, the pizza still didnt come. I said OK, they are really bussy and we are in no rush. Later on a table that came way after us got the food, it was a bit weird but we were still patiente. But then 3 other tables that came after got the pizzas. We then said to the server that we still didnt get ours (after 40min of waiting!!) to which he said: yes, it will come. Come what? So much waiting for only one classic pizza? Our theory was this: because we saw people come and take pizzas to go and they sell pizza slices as well, that they served us the pizza meant for that and just reheated it because it surely didnt feel freshly baked. Extremely disappointed after reading all the reviews saying how friendly the staff were. We were served by a short bald man, who had no basic manners, no “thank you” or any professionalism. Brought our bill to the table BEFORE our meal arrived without saying a word and walking off. In fact, every single time he came to the table he didn’t say anything and walked off. The best pizza place in Naxos island, As a pizza lover I am always looking to find a good pizza place wherever I go and Amici pizza in Naxos port gets the highest mark in all categories.
