Moana Seaside Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Nea Propontida

This place is a huge disappointment for below several reasons and I do NOT recommend this place at all. There are plenty of better spots nearby—try your luck with them instead.

1-Service for drinks is fast, but for food? Forget it. They tell you the kitchen is “very busy,” take your order after 1 hour, and then bring it another hour later.

2-The biggest scam: they charge €30 per person for VIP (for 3 people) but give you only 2 sunbeds and 1 chair. Why would I pay full price for a chair? It’s ridiculous. They argued with us for about 20 minutes trying to convince us this is “usual practice” — something you couldn’t even make a child believe. If that’s the case, you should have charged for 2 sunbeds only. What’s even funnier is they seem to think customers are stupid enough to believe this nonsense. It’s crystal clear they’re so money-hungry they’ll even try to charge for the same sunbed twice.

3-Food is mediocre at best. Bear in mind that they don’t serve seafood, which is also very absurd for a beach in Greece.

One good review I might have is that the staff are clearly trying to be attentive, but they’re extremely understaffed, and it’s obvious the place is run by money-hungry people who don’t care about...

Great family-friendly beach spot, but transparency could improve. We visited Moana Beach Club for three days in a row and really enjoyed it. The beach is perfect for families – the water stays shallow far into the sea, and after just a few steps, the seabed turns into silky soft sand (with only a few small pebbles at the beginning). There’s no fee for sunbeds, but there’s a required minimum spend depending on your row. We stayed in the fourth row, where the minimum was €20 for two sunbeds and an umbrella. A small downside: the umbrellas are fixed and cannot be adjusted, which makes proper sunbathing a bit challenging – you get only partial sun depending on the time of day. The food was great – we tried pizza, club sandwiches, and skewers, all of which were fresh and delicious. The staff is well-organized, friendly, and the whole place is very clean. The biggest issue, however, was that we never received proper receipts for our orders – only POS terminal slips, even after asking several times. Moana Beach Bar is hands down the best spot on the Nea Moudania seafront! The location is absolutely unbeatable, with stunning views and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel like you're on holiday from the very first moment.

The beach is perfect, with crystal-clear, super clean water, easily the cleanest in the area. Unlike many nearby beaches, the seabed here is all soft sand, no rocks, which makes a huge difference. It’s amazing for families with kids too: the shallow area stretches for at least 30–40 meters, making it safe and fun for children to play and swim.

The service was impeccable, friendly, fast, and always with a smile. Prices are very fair, especially considering the top-notch quality of the food. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.

Absolutely a 5-star experience with distinction. A must-visit if you're anywhere nearby. I’ll definitely be coming back! Sunbeds and Cabanas were also...
