I should have known that this restaurant would not suit me but I wanted to give it a try. Early on, the chief came to us on the street to make the promotion of his empty restaurant. Why not, but it was way too much to be true (showing papers, reservations, explaining that it's good food etc). We (my girlfriend and I) ordered some drinks and main meals. Then, the chief suggested that we should accept greek salada and tzatziki because it's nice with the lamb. I said ok. But they quickly brought other meals that we didn't order, saying it was good with our meals ! I replied that we said "yes" ONLY for the greek salada and tzatziki and that we didn't ask for pork meat, as delicious as it is (or could be). They could have answered "ok no problem"... but they didn't and became rude to me which is quite surprising unless something's wrong. They argued that it's good with our meals but I understood then, after reading some comments that warned us about the scam, they we were about to get screwed. So I decided to leave the restaurant and didn't eat anything. So please go elsewhere or be ready to refuse any meals you didn't order to avoid to...
Read moreDefinitely not a scam. All the people who think it's a scam clearly aren't listening/don't understand how a restaurant works. They offer to bring you starters (if you want) and IF you eat it, you pay for it. If you don't want them, you send them back and it's no problem and you don't pay. I don't get why people ate food and didn't want to pay for it? They also doubled our drinks for free and gave us free desert. They're deffo not trying to scam anyone, they're just really confident you'll love the food and want you to try stuff.
We visited three times, once for lunch and twice for dinner and it was one of the nicest meals we had. The food is amazing and really fresh, all of the staff are great and really care about you and it's a beautiful setting. On the third visit because it was a festival and we couldn't get a taxi the owner asked the waiters to drive us home, which was so incredibly kind.
Can't recommend enough, the food, the service, the value for money. It's all amazing. Go...
Read moreBig Big trap. I wish I checked the comments before. Food was mediocre (at best) but that guy 'offers' you dishes that he then overcharges. we even told him we are allergic to one of the dishes he suggested but who cares after all. You would think he'd be happy enough having you paying for the things he brought that we didn't order (and that we didn't eat since we don't like those dishes). But no, on top of that he also adds stuff that do no exist and that were never served. Never happened for me in Greece and it seems to be a very well rounded trap that he does to everyone. I was lucky enough to run away before the desserts so I didn't have to pay for another random thing. Don't check the fake positive comments and stick to the many many 1 star reviews depicting the same exact trap. That should be good enough for you to run away. I can only hope that he pays it back one way or the other so if you want to contribute to the...
