Kalami Beach Taverna Kalami Corfu — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Came here to have a quick lunch. The restaurant was completely empty, but the bartender (or whoever the guy is) told us everything is reserved and the only table he can offer is in the sun (+35 outside). We asked what time are the reservations because we wanted to eat real quick but he was quite rude and said he cannot place us anywhere but this table. So we went to another tavern, had lunch there and then an hour after on our way back we passed this one and it was STILL EMPTY. I was so much shocked by the unwelcoming reception which is very uncommon to Greece that I had to write this review here so maybe the person in charge pays attention to this. We are here for the whole week staying in San Antonio hotel and we're planning to eat in this tavern cause it looked nice, but we will not enter this place after the humiliating experience we have had.

The date was 18.08.21 and...

It was our last night in Corfu before flying back to the UK and Thursday night was Greek Night. We were shown to our table and then had a 10 minute wait for menus, which we ended up having to ask for. We eventually ordered drinks and our food. The food arrived in good time, but then had to attract the attention of a waitress to get some cutlery. By this time the entertainment had started. Once we had finished our food we were left stranded, no offer of a desert menu, no offers of any other drinks. The staff could clearly see (we were on front row table so clearly visible) we had no drinks left, no wine, no beer, no water. After an hour of waiting for either more drinks or the desert menu we gave up, asked for the bill, paid up and left. The taverna must be loosing out on €300/400 per night of additional takings by not serving their customers enough. Shame as a great night out...

Restoran works from 18:30., but no big deal just need to update info in description :) we where to early for dinner and where disappointed what all tables where reserved. Okey, maybe. But we where hungry :) long short story - worth it. :) Started with one starter: Feta cheese ovened. And Pita. Portion not big. More for one person. Not for two :) Additional pita or bread should be ordered, because they're not included. Also white house wine and Magner sider. This sider was tasty! Refreshing! Recommend. Main dishes : Seafood risotto. Worthit. Portion decent. Prawns & rise. Exact name I couldn't remember :)) BUT Totally worth it! Taste WAS amazing.
