Pirates Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Had a mixed experience here. Came during the day one day for drinks and couldn’t have faulted it at all.

Came another night to watch the football, they had all the games on on different TVs which I thought was a great idea. Unfortunately the people in the bar this night (English) we’re a prime example why us brits get a bad reputation on holiday.

They were all clearly drunk, shouting all the time, making nuisances of themselves and pissing off everyone who was in there for a quiet drink or to watch the football. The staff didn’t do anything to calm them down or even kick them out, guess profit is more important to them than the comfort of their customers. In the end myself a few others walked out and when somewhere nicer to watch the football.

Conclusion - come here during the day but of a night go elsewhere unless you want drunk idiots screaming and falling into you because their pissed.

Personally I won’t be coming back here just out of principle due to lack of action...

If you want to relax there you need high level of tolerance otherwise be ready for the staff to make you uncomfortable. Most of them are more than unprofessional, it's nothing about friendly and easy going vibe, some of them totally cross the line like waiter directly offending client or making stupid jokes that are funny only to him. If you're a girl then surely don't go there alone. At least one of them with beard will hit on you like this is the main purpose of his work. If you don't receive any comment from him then probably he commented on you while trying to have loose talk with other clients exposing his pervert mind. And most of the service is like they misunderstood work for close friends gathering. I have been there twice and won't come back in...

I really don't know what to think of this place. I would say some things are good here but some things are bad😐

-the menu of food and drinks is really big but the wait for food is long. I had the chicken gyros and it was cold. Overall the food here is average. -the ordering system is very strange if you come here as a big group. The drinks we ordered later were credited to different people than we wanted and no one asked us. When we pointed this out, the waiter said it gave him a headache (wtf😂), I'm sorry but we had a headache from you!🤷🏻‍♀️
