Harbour Snack Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

After reading the reviews for the harbour bar I agree entirely with what has been written except for the most recent ones awarding it one star. I was actually in the bar when this group of people arrived they eventually sat at the table next to me.They asked about food and were told it was available until 5.30. They then asked about sun beds and were told that they were free but food and drink should be bought from the bar.They then left leaving a bag behind and were immediately alerted by the owner. The bag was retrieved but no thanks offered. Rude !! They then went onto the beach and sat on sun beds belonging to the next door bar. A few minutes later they came back into the harbour bar to order food and were told they could eat in the bar or on harbour bar sunbeds but as they were on the neighbouring bars beds they would have to order from them. The family did not seem to be able to understand this concept. At NO time were they screamed at, shouted at or asked to leave. The person trying to deal with them was calm and spoke perfect English. When this group finally left they enjoyed telling the person that had been trying to help them that they would be posting negative comments on this page and that she would lose her job. The Harbour Beach bar is a family run business, the food is excellent serving breakfast till 11.30 and lunch snacks till 17.00. The drinks served are perfect including local beer which is extremely cheap, cocktails are the best we have had in Roda including the price( cheapest around) All cocktails are delicious (trust me ) and come with sparklers, melon and a little umbrella !! Just beautiful ! The sunsets here are spectacular looking over Albania again perfect for evening drinks. The sun beds are free if you eat and drink in the bar otherwise they are 15 Euros. The family consists of Spiros, Tania and there two wonderful daughters, you are always greeted with a big smile and a hello, the service provided is second to none with nothing being a problem if ever encountered. Please make sure you visit the harbour beach bar, I promise you won’t be disappointed !! Been coming to Roda since the 90s and watched the Harbour Bar grow and evolve into the fabulous family friendly place it is now. Second to none in the resort for their cocktail menu (which I doubt you will find cheaper anywhere in Roda). Read the reviews below.
