Zorbas Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Very tasty Greek food. Excellent service - they are really making an effort - especially Pavlos and Billy - super friendly, always smiling, super helpful - they are definitely having a good vibes. Rest of the staff are nice too. It is not like any other ordinary restaurant - this place is very special. They keep people entertained, the atmosphere is warm and exciting at the same time, It was a pleasure to spent two evenings there. With all my heart I do recommend this place to everyone, it is the best atmosphere in Corfu. Thank you guys for being so welcoming ❤️ We will definitely be back on our next visit to Corfu, so see you soon...

On the basis of a lot of positive reviews, we made our way to Zorbas. A friendly member of the waiting team (and also Greek dancer) showed us to our table. Point to note here, don't get seated next to a speaker. Reason is a few times in the evening, the volume goes up and the dancing starts. The waiting team do a fine job of entertaining the diners. We had all the usual Greek items on the menu, but wonder why they use frozen (spongy) carrots to accompany when real carrots are readily available and sliced in the main meals. Apart from that, all food, entertainment and general friendliness...

Huge disappointment! I've been to Greece at least 10 times and just before this restaurant I visited 2 other restaurants during my stay in Corfu, so I think I can honestly say that this is the worst restaurant in Greece so far. The food has no taste, it misses everything for what you would visit a greek taverna. The vegetables were not fresh, the french fries was from the freezer. The waiters are irritating and the whole place is just about to catch tourists. Probably it was a good place in the 90's but today it is rather "out of fashion", tourists deserve more...
