We came to this restaurant at the very end of our Greece trip and had some high expectations given all our wonderful experiences in Athens and Santorini.
We were thoroughly disappointed by the older gentleman’s service, which was curt during our ordering and thereafter inattentive throughout the evening. At 8 pm we were told that only a single (most expensive) fish option was available and any others would be extremely small; this proved to be entirely false given the orders that we saw later-seated neighbors receive. We wonder whether we were the gullible American tourist that was overcharged.
We kept our spirits high given that this was our final dinner in Greece. But by the end of dinner, the inattentive service could not be ignored. We did not receive a single pour of water after the first, and once empty, we were not offered an additional bottle. Most notably, we needed to remind the staff multiple times to provide us drinks - so much that I needed to walk across the street (from our outdoor seating table) into the restaurant to ask for a third time for a single coke.
This is of course one dining experience on a Wednesday this October 2nd evening, but it was such a distinctly negative one that I feel it is necessary to provide this account.
The fish was fresh, albeit underseasoned, relative to any other fish we’ve had in Greece.
The outdoor atmosphere was quite nice, but was admittedly difficult to appreciate...

So me and my girlfriend arrived after making reservations, at first the staff were really really nice (really!) And we've ordered an appetizer which was also great, and one main course was also great. but then unfortunately my girlfriend didn't like her shrimp in red sauce (happens) and we returned the dish after she literally had one bite of it, and she didn't pick anything else, when the bill finally came (had to ask 4 times) we saw her dish in still there, we've asked why, and we were told: "that's the restaurant rules", I've even spoke to the manager and explained calmly that it's acceptable all over the world, and it happens that a customer doesn't like the dish, and doesn't have to pay for it, nonetheless if she only had one bite.
The manager continued and said that it's their famous and best dish, that they've tasted it and there's nothing wrong with it (which is true, but she just didn't like it!)
So, we've had to actually pay 20€ for a dish we didn't really eat. I guess the customer isn't always right at Jimmy's, even if they didn't like some of the food unfortunately

Read moreJimmy's Fish is a restaurant located at the Mikrolimanos is I'd reccomend this restaurant to those who want to have a great meal by the portside with extremely friendly service.
The staff is very courteous and humourous. They suggested us the right seafood dishes to order.
The restaurant has an ony seafood menu. We ordered two shrimp dishes: Shrimp with red sauce and feta cheese and Shrimp with Lemon butter sauce. We then ordered a Cafe Paris Salad with cheese baked on bread. We also ordered some drinks, such as gin and lemonade. We ordered some bread on the side, which came with a very delicious salsa sauce.
With a great menu, friendly staff and good service, Jimmy's Fish is certainly a great option for seafood in Mikrolimanos, especially if you have an average budget which is too high or...
