Karambelas — Restaurant in Municipality of Piraeus

With a score of 4.9 stars its just a bit underated , nothing fancy here , the establishment is by a very busy road , inhouse made gyros makes it a very rare find tho , there are a few ppl still making gyros but how many know how do it the proper way ? The store owner not only makes the gyros but also is the very same guy that will prepare every dish and every time i taste his dishes i feel blessed , I'm very lucky i leave in another part of Pireus otherwise my diet/eating habbits would be ruined

The store opens at 18.00 everyday except Sundeys , by 22.00 you may not find any gyro still spinning and that shows something , best time to visit is around 19.00 where theres still no crowd Be ware tho the red pepper added is HOT

I really recommend this place for eating pita :). It costs only 3 euro, and you have everything you need inside. The portions aren't so big, but enough to strugle another few hours of exploring city.

Unique place, special “Gyros” and the most important is the best food experience that i had. This place was recommended from friends to me and now from me to you. If you ever visit Piraeus or you are a traveler you must visit this place.
