Such a lovely hotel! My husband and I booked this hotel a couple days before our cruise. Our flight landed in Athens very late (2AM or so) after flight delays. Once we got a taxi to the hotel (45ish min), the manager offered us water and checked us in. Many people have mentioned the water getting outside the shower, but we found shutting the water off between washing and rinsing helped some. Also, the body wash and shampoo smell amazing!
The breakfast is a must try! Both mornings we ate at the cafe. The portions are big. The fruit plate never disappointed and the service was always top notch. Such amazing hospitality. Also, if they have the freshly squeezed orange juice available, please give it a try!
For location, easy to walk around the streets nearby. The night life is fairly lively with plenty of options to eat, drink and hangout.
My only caution for cruisers is the hotel is 7 minutes from the cruise port. Due to the short distance, many taxi drivers prefer to take customers longer distance. We waited about 45 min between the Uber app and FreeNow app to get taxied to the terminal with no success. We ended up walking which was about 45 minutes. My advice is either book the taxi in advance or maybe plan on walking. The walk wasn't bad just unexpected for us.
Overall, this hotel was a wonderful find. We were glad we booked it and if we are ever in Piraeus again, we...
Read moreThe way I was treated by staff was absolutely disgusting. Upon arriving at the hotel at 10pm/10:30pm, we were sent to our room. The shower was dirty moldy and mildewy. The bed was small. But we were willing to look past all of this. What we couldn’t look past was absolutely NO ac, not even the slightest bit of air coming out of any vents. We waited 3 hours with people in and out of our room until finally at 2am the man at the front desk said sorry but we can’t give you another room with working AC because we are booked. I explained that I take medications that make me extremely heat intolerant. It was 90+ degrees that day and the next. The front desk man assured me if Expedia approved my refund we would be refunded as we were forced at 2am to find a hotel somewhere else on a Saturday night. Fast forward and we receive an email from Twinn stating that it was our fault we did not tell them I had a medical condition where I could not get overheated and therefore they will not refund us. I explained that they lost AC as an amenity and provided an uninhabitable room for ANYONE regardless of my|Medical issues. Totally gross. Don’t stay here. The entire place is blazing hot and people are nasty and will victim blame you for having...

Helpful, professional, friendly, and genuine. While we will remember the sights of this wonderful city, it is the people who capture our hearts. ||Breakfasts are delicious and very affordable. Coffee and tea are complimentary all day. ||The location is perfect if you are looking for local experience. Many shops, restaurants, and the metro station are close and convenient. Everybody I met in Prisaeus was lovely and friendly. It is a safe place and offers so many choices for dining. Views of the marina are close, and the port for ferries and cruise ships is walking distance (under a mile). Bakeries, grocery stores, and pharmacies are all close, too. ||The city center is a short and easy metro ride. The metros are inexpensive, clean, and safe. (A 5day metro pass is 8 euros. A metro ticket for the airport is 9euros )||I originally chose this hotel because it was the least expensive I could find. But I will pick this one again when I come back to Athens....
