We stayed in the area for a night and was lucky to find out this gem! Psarokastella was definitely what we have in mind for a local seafood restaurant. Family-owned and run by all family members, the chef brought us surprise to surprise with her cook, their warm welcome and surely the quality of food! I was licking my finger trying the boiled/ steamed shrimps with homemade sauce. That was the best for us and we were hesitating to order another one. We tried also octopus with wine sauce, grilled squid and super fresh fried fishes (too hungry and excited - forgot taking a photo of the fishes). Wowww. Look no further, this is the place! Even if it’s out of your way, come here to have the best seafood in all of Greece! This restaurant is family owned and run. Maria, the owner and chef will great you and treat you like family! Her and her husband are the nicest people you’ll meet in Athens. The seafood is fresh and caught daily. Her menu changes daily based on what is fresh that day and your likings. We’Ve had the best Greek salad, the best fish, squid and octopus. Don’t even get me started on her home made dessert that ends the meal magically. Truly lucky to have stumbled on this place. It was such a great culinary experience that we returned a second time! Trust me, this is THE place and we can’t wait to come back. 10 stars....
