I can only confirm what the last review said. Waited 40 minutes for our drinks (at 16:00 on a not very busy Saturday in September). The bar was certainly not busy, and there were plenty of staff around who did not look overworked. We started downstairs where after several calls the waitress told us that although she was free she could not serve us as it was not her table. We decided to move upstairs to profit from the (very nice) view, and to see if we would get better service. The waitress there was very nice and took our order quickly, but we were then left waiting for almost 30 minutes. A juice we ordered arrived rapidly, but the two other cocktails arrived more than 25’ later. Again, the bartender did not look busy and the floor was only 50% occupied. Other tables were also waiting long. The manager was at the bar, busy on his phone and seemingly uninterested in the situation. We could see the bartender all the time and she prepared our drinks in two minutes after more than 20’ in which she only prepared two other very small orders. Bizarre. No-one said goodbye when we left. Very strange experience altogether. Not an enjoyable one unfortunately. To add insult to injury the cocktail was watery (as it was prepared earlier and was left waiting on the bar for a good 10’ before the second one was ready) ;-) Again. Bizarre experience. Not representative of our other...
Read moreWe were 3 Arab women, and it didn't matter to our knowledge until we noticed inappropriate behavior. Upon our arrival, we informed the rooftop manager that we wanted a seat on the terrace because we smoke. He said that once we weren't seated, it wasn't possible to change seats. I had called two days beforehand to reserve a seat on the terrace, and I was informed that they don't accept reservations on Sundays
we settled against our will Every time we had to go outside to smoke, after a few tables became free on the terrace, we called the manager to ask him to move us to the terrace. He said there were people already waiting and sat them outside. We focused on the situation, and then people came after us and asked for tables on the terrace. The manager asked them to wait a bit, and then he moved them to the terrace. We called him again, when a table was free, he told us again that it wasn't possible. We told him that those who had just entered arrived after us and had the table we wanted. He said he had made reservations. I told him that I had called to reserve, and he told me that these people were part of the management. I then concluded that this was an act of pure racism, and I boycotted the place at my among my...
Read moreI visited this place on August 10, around 7 pm, to have a coffee on the rooftop (as usual) it is important to note that for the last 2 years I have been visiting this place regularly and never had any problems.
Unfortunately this time, one rude hostess saw me from afar and began to ask me, by raising her voice, where I was going. finally after approaching me she, was not letting me pass, arrogantly replied that we do not serve coffee at this time upstairs and even more - I have no right to pass with my small bottle of water (as if they do not serve water from the tap there lol), to my question since when everything has changed she also could not answer and only caused all her hostility with her facial expression.
Even if the rules of the establishment have changed, employees must always be hospitable and follow the rules of communication with guests (they are still in the workplace)
Such a pity that one of my favorite places will never be in my...
