First, Adonis, our taxi driver, recommended this place and made a late reservation by phone for us as we came in late from Santorini. We even got there even later after checking in at the hotel. Leonidas greeted us at the door with open arms, setting the tone as a family experience in a traditional setting. We ordered light cause it was late Lamb, chicken, biftecki(hamburger patty), sausages, and zucchini, 5 star meal at 1 star prices. This is what a family restaurant is supposed to be In Greece, being adopted as family and treated as such. So we decided a second visit and a 2 hour sitting with an abundance of wine , 2 orders of Seafood platter for 4 of us, we could barely finish but kept trying as this was absolutely delicious. The best restaurant in Crete! Very friendly service! You can see that this is a family restaurant, they put their heart and soul into it! Ever since we discovered this place among the many restaurants, we have been coming here for dinner every day. ALL the food we have eaten so far, be it pizza, pasta or grilled food, has been divinely delicious, so much so that we can say without a little exaggeration that we have never eaten anything so delicious anywhere in the world!
