The Twins — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

Obviously under i see peoples have no idea about food and restaurants. Probably they think too much about themselves and their tasting system. Unfortunate that they can missinformate peoples with their rewievs. I am a chef 20 years in kitchen, so: This is the greek food, this is a normal service and good atmosphere. Recommended for every tourist. The fries in the world around is maybe crunchy, but is bad and unfortunately most of the population think that is the french fries and food. Funny to read the comments, how people have no idea about different cultures and foods. They expect the same in greek, naive and low food...

Best pita gyros in Platanias. We've Been there many Times and allways feel wellcome by the owners, The twins. On rush hours you might not get The best and smily service from female waitress. Once we got pork pita instead of chicken, we asked for New one and it was a bit burned, so that was a bommer, but also only time. Thats a shame because The owners are allways smiling:) Pita gyros is under 3€, so great for budget...

We arrived in order to have dinner, my wife ordered pork gyros and I ordered moussaka. This was the worst moussaka I ever had, it was completely dried out like it had spent all day in the oven and it was inedible. I complained about it and due to misunderstanding I thought I was offered something else - but this turned out not to be true. My wife's gyros was, luckily ok. We will probably never return...
