This bar and restaurant is across from the villa we were staying in, which is why we went. We were seated in the garden with a view of the ocean and the atmosphere was cozy. The staff was very polite and service minded. We were a party of 7 adults and one child, who ordered a few different dishes. We started out with bread which was great, and olive tapenade, oil and vinegar. We had calamari as an appetizer, and it was good, and you could tell it was made from fresh octopus due to the various size and shape. The lamb from the grill was great, and the fries were hand carved. The gyros were not rolled in a flat bread like we are used to, and we had both the chicken and the pork. It was definitely not the best gyros, but it was okay. The pasta pesto was quite boring, but the size of the portion could feed a whole army. Read moreI’ve been enjoying meals at Thalasakki Beach Bar for several days in a row, and each visit has been a wonderful experience. The service here is truly outstanding – the waiters are not only efficient but also warm, friendly, and full of humor, which creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. They make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The food is consistently delicious, prepared quickly, and served fresh. Every dish I’ve tried has been full of flavor, and the prices are surprisingly low, especially considering the quality. This combination of great taste, speed, and affordability is hard to find.
It’s a hidden gem that sadly doesn’t seem to get as many customers as it truly deserves. If more people knew about this place, I’m sure it would be buzzing every day. Whether you’re looking for a quick meal, a place to relax by the beach, or just friendly service that brightens your day, Thalasakki Beach Bar is an excellent choice. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely keep coming back whenever I’m...
Read moreAvoid this place if at all possible. Sadly the food was without doubt of such poor quality I am astonished that anyone goes there more than once. It might have been chef's day off but it is no excuse for overcooking the dakos so much it tasted burnt and undercooked octopus that was chewy and unpleasant. What the crab concoction was supposed to be heaven knows but it was accompanied by even more burnt bread crumbs. Let's just say the cook needs to go to catering school for a few years and then perhaps taste what they have cooked before serving it to...
