We were a small group of Greeks with children who wished to spend the day in this beach. We took a table late midday, we were the only customers. We had sodas and some club sandwiches. The food was nothing out of the ordinary, except that it was double price... Which is sometimes expected. Everybody knows the trick, we produce in low Greek labour and supply prices and charge a bit less than London downtown... So yeah, this is a tourist trap, other reviews further down prove this.... Yet the reason for this bad review was not the price or the food, it was how rude the staff was. Apparently they have calculated the hourly profit per table and also forgotten any sense of hospitality or the ways of their forefathers to say the least. We got some ice creams for the kids but as dinner time came closer the staff started promoting their menu. Apparently this is what they do for tourists who have their dinner earlier than Greeks. When we told them that we would rather play a table game for the kids and order later they seemed in discomfort and insinuated that we could not keep the table. They seemed further stressed after the kids were running around among the tables accidentally spilled some sodas on our table. They were so rude that we decided to leave the place. Located at a beach with fierce waves 85% of the time since it is exposed to the strong northern winds, they choose to distance themselves from the local market since they can sell underwhelming overpriced food...

Came here for a meal 24th August after finding this random restaurant at 2am looking at where we could eat out on Google. I booked a table and from the moment we arrived we felt very welcome and it was like a home from home - but in paradise. We were right on the beach at sunset and I ordered the lobster and my husband the shrimp. My little boy wasn't very hungry but when the food arrived he suddenly was - all i can say is WOW! this is the kind of secret gem you see restaurant reviews on popular YouTube channels eating at. We are big foodies, and the lobster is a treat for once a year for me as we don't live near anywhere that serves it let alone cooks it right. It was really the best lobster i have ever had and they even take the meat out for you. My husband said that his salad and shrimp were also the best tasting and fresh we have experienced, especially commented on the tomatoes which apparently were unbelievable. It was so good, we are returning today and will probably book a holiday next year nearer this restaurant to eat every day. Honestly I have no idea why there's a couple of bad reviews, some people are crazy! This is a fine dining restaurant and worthy of a uk equivalent of a Michelin star. I feel so lucky to have come across this family run traditional cretian restaurant and we will definitely be returning. I cannot recommend it enough!
