Retro Coffee & Brunch — Restaurant in Municipality of Poros

Great view, nice seating, varied menu, decent prices. Only default was the customer service. Here’s how my interaction went with the server: Me: One cappuccino single please Server: Freddo cappuccino? Me: No, hot. Server: With sugar? Me: Yes, thank you.

I was given a Freddo cappuccino without sugar. I brought it up to the waiter who seemed upset and talked back to me, “when I asked, You said Freddo cappuccino.” I insisted I had not. He said “I asked sugar, you said no.” Maybe asking for sugar implies Freddo, not really sure but it was bizarre how he got my order so wrong. He seemed annoyed (note: there was no one else in the outdoor seating this early, it wasn’t busy), and said they’d have to remake it. Rather than dealing with a rude and upset waiter, I said it was fine and I’d just drink it because why not, in Greece it’s about Freddo. It was a tasty drink, I just wish I’d gotten what I asked for. Maybe the staff can repeat back orders to customers next time, just to make sure less mistakes happen. I acknowledge that I’m in Greece as a tourist speaking English, and mistakes can happen. Retro coffee and brunch surprised me every time I visited . Amazing coffee filtered with good quality water , is a great combination to elevate the taste of your favourite beverage . Every snack and plate we tasted (highlights were : burgers and club sandwiches ) was carefully prepared to the greatest detail , every bite carefully crafted to bring you joy . All the ingredients were far better than the average you'll find in other businesses . The staff was friendly helpful and very professional , their suggestions were perfect for our taste . Amazing place with a fantastic view and beautifully decorated outside sitting place. Big satisfying portions with normal prices!
